Zhong Lun Congratulates the Inaugural LUI Che Woo Prize

2016 Awardee Médecins Sans Frontières


Zhong Lun congratulates Médecins Sans Frontières for receiving the inaugural LUI Che Woo Prize 2016 in the Welfare Betterment category, with the specific area of focus in “Treatment and/or Control of Epidemics, Infectious Diseases or Chronic Illnesses”, for the organization's contributions to treat and control the cholera outbreak in Haiti in 2010 and the Ebola epidemic in West Africa in 2014.

Zhong Lun has been a proud supporter of the international humanitarian-aid work of Médecins Sans Frontières and we are truly honored to have the opportunity to act as their legal counsel.

The LUI Che Woo Prize aims to recognize and honors individuals or organizations with outstanding achievements and contributions to the world in respect of the following three objectives: Sustainable development of the world (Sustainability Prize); Betterment of the welfare of mankind (Welfare Betterment Prize); and Promotion of positive life attitude and enhancement of positive energy (Positive Energy Prize).

Professor Yuan Longping is awarded the first Sustainability Prize, while Mr. James Earl “Jimmy” Carter, Jr., the 39th President of the United States is awarded the first Positive Energy Prize.
