On 15 May 2019, Mr. Clifford Ng, co-managing partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm and Mr. Michael Olesnicky, senior consultant of Baker McKenzie, were invited to hold a seminar on “Updates on the Latest Developments with the China Individual Income Tax for UHNW Clients” at the Deutsche Bank for around 120 members of the Private Wealth Management Association. Clifford’s presentation focused on the impact of the tax regime for UHNW clients while Michael interviewed him to draw out some of the key takeaways.
